BOX OF CIRCLES - ENGLAND'S LONG-AWAITED 3rd ALBUM
Robert and Steve will record the backtrack to FINE ALLEY on 28/29 NOV 2009. The BOX OF CIRCLES concept album is at the final recording stage. Its been 12 years in the making (so far). Robert will visit Steve's studio next weekend to record a drum and keyboard backing track to FINE ALLEY. Some of the album's music has already been released (the 196 limited edition BOX OF CIRCLES 'Taster' CD in May 2009 contained 4 tracks of early mixes) or performed recently (It Couldn't Be You - In Japan and Baja, 2006; and Destiny at the MelloFest, 2009). If you were not lucky enough to get hold of the 'Taster' CD (most went to Japan) then watch this space as Garden Shed Music are looking into a limited run of other early mixes from the album. Please make sure we have your email address (via the Message Board) to be sure of being notified of news items.

Baja Festival

England live at Baja Festival, Mexico in March 2006 and Japan in July 2006
England received a wonderfully warm welcome at the Baja Prog Festival, Mexicali, in March 2006 from enthusiasts that had travelled from all over the world to hear this unique form of music being performed by more than 20 bands.
England played to a sold-out theatre on the 10th March to an audience many of whom still had copies of the original vinyl version of Garden Shed.
“Since I first received my copy of Garden Shed and listened to it, I knew this was going to be a wonderful band to work with. And it was.
I've been at hundreds of concerts in many parts of the world and during this time I've listened to many bands, well now I think "England "represents the total essence of progressive music. I really enjoyed listening to it, checking every beautiful passage. What a marvellous work.
It has been a pleasure to work with you and now I feel touched with the talent of all of you.â€
Cesar Cardenas, Sound Director, Baja Prog Festival, March 2006
